MUST-Do Day on International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day (March 8th) this year, Vesterålen organized its traditional ‘feel good’ day for women. The theme this year was even more focused on the different stages of women’s lives. There were lectures by scientific health experts, and everyone got to try chair yoga and lymph yoga. There was mingling, toasting in bubbly, new acquaintances were made and the premises at Riverton in Gothenburg were filled with laughter. Finally, all the women got a lovely and packed goodie bag with lots of nice products to take home. And in these were products from, among others, Doftrum and Yankee Candle. Acreto AB appointed as new Nordic distributor for Panasonic Tools

On March 1, 2025, Acreto AB took over the distribution of Panasonic Tools in Sweden and Norway. Panasonic Tools is globally recognized for its advanced, ergonomic and technically innovative hand tools for professional use in crafts and industry. With its focus on durability, precision and ease of use, Panasonic Tools is a natural complement to Acreto’s existing product portfolio. The collaboration means that Acreto can now offer its customers in Sweden and Norway products that meet the highest standards in craft and industry.

Joining Acreto in the takeover is Product and Sales Manager Anders Sebelius, who with his long experience and deep expertise in Panasonic Tools will continue his work as responsible for the brand in Sweden and Norway.

Acreto’s expansion of its product range through the partnership with Panasonic Tools underlines the company’s capacity for strong growth in both the Nordic region and possibly Northern Europe. Some of Panasonic Tools’ products are aimed at the heavier industrial side, which means that Acreto – which previously focused mainly on consumer products – is now taking a step into a new business segment with new opportunities for growth as a result.

The Mester Group Fair

Last week we attended Mestergruppen’s supplier fair at Scandinavian XPO in Arlandastad. Many brands were showcased and new contacts were made. This year Acreto launched its own brand Mr. Mosquito. For the attentive, Mr. Mosquito has been on the market before, but is now in a completely new and updated design. At Gekåsdagarna on September 13-14 you could meet happy Amanda at our Yankee Candle shelves. Thank you all who came and bought scented candles these days. Advent calendars have also started to creep into the shelves. Perfect advent gift for someone you like or if you want to try some different scents yourself.

Thorskog castle

This year’s conference took place at the beautiful Thorskog Castle, located between Kungälv and Lilla Edet. Here we had, among other things, a history lecture about the castle, an inspirational lecture by Linda Hammarstrand, clay pigeon shooting, archery, teamwork exercises, fantastic castle dinners and much more. Thank you kindly to all involved. What a success it was.
